Porter’s Pub will be hosting a Meet the Brewer night with Left Hand Brewing Co. on Friday the 13th. They’ll be pouring Fade to Black Volume 3, a black pepper porter, as well as 400 Pound Monkey and Milk Stout (on nitro).
Also, perhaps taking a page from the Grey Lodge in Philly, Black & Blue will be tapping a firkin of Weyerbacher Hops Infusion on Friday. They’ll also be having a “B” Horror Movie Dress-up Night which will surely be a good time, topped off with Asian pork chili to accompany your beer.
There’s really no reason to go anywhere else on Friday but Easton.

I was at the Farmhouse Slyfox dinner last night… ugh… terrible. What a shame, they used to do such a nice job. Food was average best, beer selection was blah and serving size was 4oz (seriously – terrible). Don’t bother checking out future events there.
That doesn’t surprise me too much…that was the first beer dinner they’ve done in quite some time I believe. After they lost Chef Adams I hadn’t heard too many flattering things about the restaurant. Additionally, I’m only usually intersted in beer dinners if they’re serving beer that’s out of the norm and not something I can grab at Wegmans at do a pairing with my own cooking. To each their own, however.
