Brew Works Hosting Jameson & Beer Dinner

by theelvee_w2oe3m

The Brew Works is holding a St Patty’s Day (March 17th) dinner on March 31st with some great beers and naturally some great whiskey.  There’s a lot of brews in here that (to our knowledge) Brew Works hasn’t done yet so it gives a good sneak peak as to what they’ll be brewing in the future as well.  The dinner is four courses and includes a whiskey and beer pairing for each course.  The dinner is $50 per person plus tax and gratuity and starts at 7pm.

First Course:
Mixed greens topped with goat cheese, smoked almonds, and a whiskey-poached pear finished in sherry vinaigrette
Whiskey: Jameson
Beer: Nutso Brown Ale

Second Course:
Olive oil-poached salmon on a bed of red lentils, fondue of leeks, and a citrus buerre blanc
Whiskey: Jameson 12
Beer: RyePA

Third Course:
Cold-smoked pork tenderloin over a parsnip puree, mushroom ragout, and whiskey BBQ sauce
Whiskey: Jameson Gold
Beer: Gold Rush Steam

Dessert:
Dark Chocolate tartlet served with a scoop of Irish cream ice cream
Whiskey: Jameson 18
Beer: Bourbon Barrel Insidious

I stumbled upon this magazine clipping and wasn’t sure what to make of it. New restaurant? Misprint?

Sorry, I know this is off topic for the post, but this is usually the best place for local restaurant rumors.

Interesting…I know the Pacifico chef has another restaurant up north with the same name…maybe he’s changing over themes. Thanks for the tip, I’ll look into it.
