This evening Starter’s Riverport in Bethlehem is hosting their “BeerScool” dinner featuring Sixpoint Brewery from Brooklyn. The dinner is $30 in advance or $35 at the door and starts at 7pm. A beer rep from the brewery will be on-hand to ‘teach’ and discuss the beers being paired with the dinner. The menu and pairings:
1st course:
House-made spicy tuna roll with pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce
Paired with: Bengali Tiger IPA
2nd Course:
Sweet chili-glazed spare ribs with pickled cucumber
Paired with: Righteous Rye Ale
3rd Course:
Korean BBQ glazed duck breast with stir fried bok choy and yakisoba noodles
Paired with: Resin Double IPA
4th Course:
Peanut butter break pudding with bananas, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and bacon-peanut brittle
Paired with: Sweet Action Pale Wheat Cream Ale
