Robata of Tokyo, a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar, is closing after 29 years in business.  Located at 39 S 9th Street in Allentown, the restaurant announced on Facebook earlier today that their last dinner service will be on Saturday, November 15th.  Haruyoshi Shindo, who is the restaurant’s sushi chef and retiring due to health concerns, and Ikuko Shindo at one time had three locations throughout the region and downsized to just their Allentown located years ago.
