June is fast approaching, which means the annual PBS39 Brewfest at Coca Cola Park is just around the corner.  This year’s festival takes place on Saturday, June 22nd.

This year’s festival will feature over 100 beers as well as entertainment and vendors to peruse.  A VIP session will allow passholders to enter an hour early, from 1pm to 2pm and feature live music by Joe Wagner.  During the general session, which goes from 2pm to 5pm, Peripheral Vision, the Olympus corporate band, will be performing.

Some of the brewer highlights include The Brew Works, Hijinx, Saucony Creek, Spring House, The Ship Inn, and Weyerbacher.

Tickets are $40 online (prior to June 14th) or $50 at the door for VIP tickets and $25 online (prior to June 14th) or $40 at the door for General Session tickets.  The VIP session includes an hour-long VIP session and a 16oz commemorative pint glass.  DD tickets are $5 online or at the door and include free soda.  Tickets can be purchased here.  Proceeds from the festival support PBS39’s education services.

Don’t forget Lehigh Valley Homebrewers! They will be there with Keystone Homebrew. They would have their own table if the club was a little better run.

Is there a follow up story for this event?

Unfortunately was just there for personal enjoyment this time, but your IPA was by far one of the best beers there!
