Pacifico Out at Promenade Shops

by theelvee_w2oe3m

Pacifico, a Latino fusion restaurant that has been at the Promenade Shops since 2008, when the mall opened.  LehighValleyLive reported on the closing yesterday and we confirmed today that the restaurant is no longer open for business.  The restaurant had been involved in a lawsuit with the Promenade Shops over hundreds of thousands of dollars in rent money.  Pacifico was owned by Chef Rafael Palomino, who operates Mesa in Easton and Tapas on Main in Bethlehem, as well as other restaurants throughout CT and NY.  As of Monday evening Pacifico’s website was offline and they were removed from the restaurant listings on the Promenade Shops website.

Requests for comment from Palomino and the Promenade Shops have gone unreturned, however we have received information that the space had been offered to another Lehigh Valley restaurant group, the Paxos group, who operates the Melt and Blue restaurants, prior to the settling of the Promenade’s lawsuit.
