It’s IPA Day

Today is National India Pale Ale Day.  If you don’t know what the hell that means, it means it’s the celebration of all beer bitter, citrusy, piney, and resiny. 

There’s two places offering some great beer today.  We’ll start with the best, which is a bit outside the Lehigh Valley, but completely worth it:  Spinnerstown Hotel.  They’ve got Weyerbacher’s Double Simcoe infused with mangoes on cask.  It doesn’t get much better than that around here.  If you’re heading down, call ahead to double check and make sure it’s still pouring.

Closer to home, the Tavern on Liberty is tapping Stone’s RuinTen Anniversary IPA, a beefed up version of their classic Ruination, as well as Avery’s 20^th Anniversary brew.   

Get out there and get bitter.
