Flama Tropical has closed up shop at their 821 Linden Street location and moved to 559 E. Broad Street. Flama Tropical has moved around several times in the past few years, at one point occupying the space at 102 E. 4th Street, which is now home to Jenny’s Kuali. The new Broad Street location occupies a space that was empty for some years and was previously The Rock International Cuisine, a restaurant run by a Christian non-profit group.
West Broad Street has seen new life on the restaurant front in the past few months with The Bayou and Sweet Indulgence opening up in addition to the new Flama Tropical location. The restaurant says they will serve the same cuisine as before, including tacos, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. They will also continue operating their food truck located at 1801 Union Blvd which opened in September last year.

They have some crazy late hours which is great, I wonder if really opent that late though… they also need an on-line menu!
You’ll have to settle for whatever’s on the FB page… really, it hasn’t changed too much since the other locations were still running… and yes, Friday and Saturday till 5:00 the next morning!
