Allentown natives Laura and Olivia Albright debuted a new food truck in the Lehigh Valley this past weekend named ‘Sugar and Spice’. Lauren is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and her sister attended Villanova University. Together they’re using their food truck to serve up different styles of pies across the area, as well as catering events.
Lauren Albright said that the duo is looking to “bring the casual truck atmosphere and combine it with gourmet food.” Their pie inspiration comes from their mother’s chicken pot pie and their notion that pies can combine a variety of food styles into one dish. They’re currently licensed in Allentown as both a mobile food truck and a caterer.
You can find them this week at Lehigh Valley Auto Sales at 652 Union Blvd. from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday to grab a bite before the Iron Pigs and on Saturday from 11pm to 2am at 2105 Liberty St in Allentown at Stooges Bar & Grille.
