Rivals Sports Bar in Easton Opens

Rivals Sports Bar in Easton, whose owners we interviewed back in May, opened recently in Easton’s Center Square.

The restaurant boasts 16 TVs including a 5’ by 8’ monster projection screen and what must be the dream of any ADD sports fan: an eight TV wall with all the big sports games on all at once.  This just might be the best place around to watch the Eagles lose.  The venue also features a stage area and the owners hope to bring in DJs and bands for entertainment.

The menu features much of what you’d expect from a sports bar like wings (with 20 different sauces), cheese fries, nachos, burgers, cheesesteaks, and even some healthier options like wraps and salads.  A kids menu is also available.

Rivals is located at 5 Lehns Ct in Easton and is open from 11am to 2am daily.

I went to Rivals before a State Theatre show recently – actually started at Pearly Bakers, and when they couldn’t accommodate us there they recommended we check out Rivals. Great drink specials and I had a grilled cheese with yummy tomato soup, freshly fried chips and a half sour pickle. Very affordable and a nice place, good crowd, and you can see all the work they put into it. I’d go back.

To be honest didn’t stick around, just walked in, snapped pics, and headed out. I didn’t see any craft taps (and all of their specials are for shit beer) but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there.
