North Side
Grapefruit Cannonball – performing from 1pm to 1:30pm at Plaza Tropical
This way, way Northeast PA rock four-piece from Towanda cite The Beatles, Green Day, Weezer, and Arctic Monkeys as their influences.
Mayve – performing from 3pm to 3:30pm at Plaza Tropical
We caught this excellent pop group last year at the Tally Ho of all places playing to a nearly empty room but we loved their sound and are glad to see them back in town.
Funky Dawgz Brass Band – performing from 5pm to 6pm at Plaza Tropical
If you missed the amazing Lucky Chops last year, this is your consolation prize. These guys bring everything from hip hop to brass house style and will hopefully have the crowd rocking at Plaza Trop tonight.
Voir Voir – performing from 6:30pm to 8pm at Main Street
These guys are local favorites of ours and always bring their A-game when playing their original psych-rock sounds throughout the valley.
South Side
The Insidious Rays – performing from 11pm to 1am at the TD Community Stage
Another local favorite, this hilarious and hard-rocking group has songs like “I Fucked Some Beer The Fuck Up,” “I Got These Cheeseburgers,” and “Drivin’ Around on PCP.” They’re the perfect last late night band.
