The Brew Works is hosting their 3rd annual whisky festival on Saturday, October 20th at their Allentown location.

The event will include whisky from Jim Beam, Canadian club, Kilbeggan, Four Roses, Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Buffalo Trace, Jameson, Paddy’s, John Power & Son, Crown Royal, Johnny Walker, Bushmills, Black Velvet, and more.

The event also brings in brewers from all over the place who have made whiskey barrel aged versions of their brew for the event.  So far Bethlehem Brew Works will be serving up some sort of pumpkin ale, Nevulis Beverage will be pouring John Henry’s Spiker Ale and Cottrell Perry’s Revenge Scotch Ale, and Allentown Brew Works, Hammersmith Ales, and Stonekeep Meadery will all be showcasing brews.

Food is included in the price of admission and includes carved ham with honey bourbon BBQ sauce, cornmeal-rolled catfish over dirty rice, bourbon pulled pork on crostini with smoked mozzarella, grilled peach and bourbon bbq pulled pork, cornbread with honey and butter, and a flambé station with peach/bourbon/pecan/raisin foster over vanilla ice cream.

Tickets are available now at a discount for $25.  Tickets will then raise to $45 per person and $25 for designated drives.  They can be purchased online here or by calling Wendie at 610-433-7777 x25.
