Yet another restaurant recently opened in downtown Easton, which has been undergoing quite the culinary renaissance recently. Mesa is owned by Chef Rafael Palomino, the same restaurateur behind Pacifico at the Promenade Shops and Tapas on Main in Bethlehem, among two other spots in Connecticut. It takes the place of the former Tex-Mex Trio restaurant.

Molinari’s in Bethlehem opened at a tough time: Mama Nina’s is and was the go-to for many in the Lehigh Valley for great Italian and Emeril’s Italian Table was still relatively new. Regardless, they have succeeded in their goal to serve authentic Italian concepts and have implemented one of the most focused and impressive beverage programs in all of the Lehigh Valley.

Old School Sandwich Shop Co. has opened in the former Relish restaurant space in the Tilghman Square Shopping Center at 4686 Broadway in Allentown. Relish closed in February.

Anatolian Kitchen, a new Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant, is now open in Bethlehem.
