The Sands Bethlehem Event Center announced today that Brian Wilson and Jeff Beck will perform at the venue on Sunday, October 6th.
Brian Wilson, best known for co-founding the Beach Boys, will return as a solo act. He reunited with the Beach Boys last year for over 110 U.S. and worldwide shows, stopping in Bethlehem at the Sands Event Center. They also released a new album, titled That’s Why God Made the Radio.
Jeff Beck is best known as a guitarist for The Yardbirds and has been ranked #5 on Rolling Stone’s list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Beck’s last studio album, Emotion & Commotion, was released in 2010 along with a live album from the Grammy Museum.
It was announced earlier this year that Beck will be working with Wilson on a new solo album. According to Wilson’s website, the recordings may end up becoming three albums: one of pop songs, one of instrumental songs, and an album dealing with Wilson’s approaching the final chapter of his career.
The tour will hit 18 cities and also include former Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks. Tickets for the Bethlehem show range from $59.50 to $89.50 and go on sale Friday, August 16th at 10am.
