Bethlehem Food Co-Op Meeting Tonight

The Bethlehem Food Co-Op has a 7p.m. meeting tonight at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley (424 Center St, Bethlehem).

Tonight they’ll be taking donations to fund their .coop domain name as well as taking orders for co-op t-shirts ($10-$15, cash up-front).  Reports will be given on outreach networking members have been doing as well as discussing marketing materials, the logo, finances, and the co-op’s upcoming feasibility study.  The full agenda:

Any idea where they are thinking in terms of a location? Seems like this process is taking pretty long, although definitely looking forward to it’s end result.

There’s been talks of some different locations, but far from anything solid yet. It’s going to be a lengthy process for sure…they’re starting out with no cash at all so it’s certainly an uphill battle. Best bet would to be to convert VegFest into a fundraiser for the co-op, that way they’d have an annual big revenue generator outside of the co-op itself. I hope it all works out, it’s certainly a great idea.
