The Goo Goo Dolls, Steve Earle, The Machine, and Boz Scaggs Playing Bethlehem

 The Goo Goo Dolls, Steve Earle, The Machine, and Boz Scaggs are all set to hit the stage at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in coming months.

The Goo Goo Dolls have been a chart-topping staple in the pop world since their 1995 album A Boy Named Goo appeared on the scene.  They achieved even greater success with their Platinum and Gold records “Iris” and “Slide” off of 1998’s Dizzy Up the Girl.  The a new album on the horizon, slated for a May release, the band will be playing the Sands on Sunday, April 21st.  Tickets are $40 to $55.

Steve Earle, whose unique blend of folk, country, rock, and rockabilly have landed him various awards including three Grammy Awards, will be playing on April 26th.  Earle’s 1986 debut Guitar Town earned him a spot in the Top Ten and solidified him as a staple in the folk and country scene.  His material covers a wide range of topics from modern politics to his tumultuous affair with heroin.  Tickets for the show range from $30 to $55.

The Machine, the US’s premier Pink Floyd tribute band, will play the center on April 27th.  For the past 20 years the band has been replicating the timeless sounds of Pink Floyd’s most popular songs across continents.  Tickets for the show range from $30 to $55.

Grammy Award-winning artist Boz Scaggs will be hitting the venue on Friday, May 10th.  Scaggs’ first commercial success came in 1976 with the release of Silk Degrees which spawned hits with “Lowdown”, “Lido Shuffle”, and “What Can I Say”.  His 21st album, Memphis, was released on March 5th.  Tickets are $37.50 to $65.
