New Brew Works Beers, Beer Dinner

Man is the Brew Works busy lately.  First off, they’re brewing Devil’s Hearth again, a 6.4% Belgian golden ale.   After expanding their capacity by 50% they’re now adding two brews to their bottled lineup:  Knuckleball, a blond ale that’s served at the Iron Pigs games, and Hop Explosion, a fantastic IPA.  You can check out the labels below.


They’re also having a pretty interesting beer dinner next Tuesday, where for $63 (includes, tax, gratuity, tip) you get five courses paired with two beers for each course: one Brew Works beer and the other a beer from a different state.  The guest beer list looks great.  Check out the full menu below.  Tickets can be purchased here.

New Jersey
Smoked heirloom tomato & frisée salad, drizzled with a basil infused olive oil.
Fegley’s Brew Works Beer: Steelgaarden Wit
Guest Beer: Flying Dog in Heat Wheat

New York
Braised plum & goat cheese squash blossoms – tempura battered, and finished with a Port wine reduction.

California
Brew Works Cioppino with fennel and  garlic crostini
Fegley’s Brew Works Beer: Zomerbier
Guest beer: Anchor Steam

Pennsylvania
Koehler farms (brewers-grain-fed) grilled hanger steak. Braised fennel and wild mushrooms, whipped potato with herb butter
Fegley’s Brew Works Beer: Always Sunny Pale Ale
Guest Beer: Stoudts Double IPA

Georgia
Bourbon cured peach served with homemade vanilla ice cream
Fegley’s Brew Works Beer: Bourbon Barrel Aged Insidious Imperial Stout
