Former Hawthorne House to Open as Off Broad

by theelvee_w2oe3m

Off Broad, located at 702 Hawthorne Rd in Bethlehem, will replace the former Hawthorne House.  The Hawthorne House burned down in 2009, the result of an arson at the hand of the then owner.  The new bar and restaurant was renovated by Cityline Construction out of Allentown, and was poised to reopen in 2011 as the Bethlehem Bar & Grill, but sat dormant until recently.  Mo Taylor, a manager with the Starter’s restaurants, and Cristian Duarte will head up the new bar, which will serve American food and craft beer.  We will post more information as it becomes available.
