Casera, an interesting, upscale Spanish/Caribbean restaurant, has opened its doors at 134 N 2nd Street in Easton.

Last month the Sands Casino hosted the third annual Lehigh Valley Food and Wine Festival. This year the event changed quite a bit, as it was moved indoors to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center and spanned two days instead of the usual one.

Taste of the Valley is no more. The event, formerly held at Melt in Center Valley, is taking on a new form as Lehigh Valley Harvest: A Celebration of Local Food and Farms and will be hosted at Lutron Electronics in Coopersburg.

Bear Creek Mountain Resort is hosting a Spanish wine and tapas dinner on Wednesday, September 19th at 7pm on their outdoor deck.

So another Musikfest has come to a close, and as always there were high notes and low notes.

Bear Creek in Macungie is set to host a free Oktoberfest event – dubbed Bararia at Bear Creek/Munich on the Mountain, on Sunday, September 23rd from 12pm to 5pm.

St James Gate at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem is gearing up to host another installment in their beer dinner series, this time featuring Troegs Brewery from Hershey.

So just about everyone and their brother have been writing about the new wine bar that’s going to be installed into the former Morning Call building at 515 Main Street in Bethlehem.

Even though the whole event is centered around music, Musikfest is just as equally all about eating and drinking. As such, we endeavored to do a lot of both during this year’s festival.
