The Allman Brothers Band announced today that they’ll be hosting the Peach Music Festival at Montage Mountain in Scranton this August 10-12.
The festival will feature a late-night set on the first evening of the festival following performances from the Warren Haynes Band and the Zac Brown Band. In a statement released by the Allman Brothers, they stated, “Nothing quite like spending the weekend with our family and friends in the mountains.” The band will again headline the stage on Saturday evening.
The festival will be an annual event according to a press release sent out by LiveNation. Fest-goers will be able to camp at the ski resort overnight. Other bands performing include Tedeschi Trucks Band, O.A.R., Railroad Earth, Blackberry Smoke, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Dark Star Orchestra, The Wailers, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Blind Boys of Alabama, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Trigger Hippy, Toubab Krewe, Grimace Federation, Tauk, Cabinet, and Miz.
Tickets go on sale April 4th at noon. An early-bird special will feature tickets at $99.

From the press release it doesn’t seem like it. Zac Brown will play the headlining slot (usually like 9-11 or so like a regular concert) and then Allman Bros will go on for a late night set.
