Twenty One Pilots to headline Allentown’s PPL Center

In just over three years Twenty One Pilots have gone from playing in the basement of now-defunct Crocodile Rock Cafe to a tiny room of people to selling out back-to-back dates at Madison Square Garden.  Next January, four years to the day after the Crocodile Rock show, they will headline Allentown’s PPL Center.

Known for their immensely energetic live shows, the band’s ascendant rise in the music alternative music scene has been capped off by mainstream crossover success that has seen their album Blurryface hit #1 on the U.S. Billboard charts with platinum status.

The show, which will take place next January 24th at 7pm, is part of the band’s Emotional Roadshow tour.  Tickets for all of the dates that have gone on sale have sold out.  The Allentown show goes on sale this Friday, May 13th and tickets can be obtained by logging on to PPLCenter.com or by phone at 610-347-TIXX (there will be no box office sales for this show.)
