A big new waterpark is coming to Blue Mountain Ski Area just north of the Lehigh Valley and is scheduled to open in May 2015.

Yet another restaurant recently opened in downtown Easton, which has been undergoing quite the culinary renaissance recently. Mesa is owned by Chef Rafael Palomino, the same restaurateur behind Pacifico at the Promenade Shops and Tapas on Main in Bethlehem, among two other spots in Connecticut. It takes the place of the former Tex-Mex Trio restaurant.

Let’s face it, people don’t vacation to Pennsylvania for the wine. People usually only vacation to the Lehigh Valley for a few select events, the biggest of all being Musikfest. But every year people come from all over the country, and world, for one week to Philadelphia. For what, you ask? Beer. Now the Lehigh Valley is getting in it.

Rustic Dreams, a new bed & breakfast in Bethlehem, is now open. The B&B is owned and operated by Jean and Matt Vrabel out of their Bethlehem Township home. We stopped by recently to chat with them and find out about their new venture.
