    Colony Meadery Releasing Coffee Mead

    The Colony Meadery, based in Allentown at the AEDC’s Bridgeworks business incubator, is releasing bottles of a new mead called Buzzzzz.  The mead, previously only available in growlers at the meadery, was part of an experimental batch.  Utilizing whole bean coffee from Fieldstone Coffee Roasters in Milford, NJ, the mead boasts a huge coffee aroma with a smooth, mild coffee flavor.  The mead comes in at 7.5% ABV and will be available in 375ml bottles soon.
