Weyerbacher Brewery in Easton is working on their next anniversary series beer, Seventeen, commemorating their seventeenth year in business.
According to a label recently submitted for approval Seventeen will be a saison-style beer brewed with orange, lemon, and grapefruit peels with pink peppercorns. It clocks in at 10.5% alcohol. Last year’s anniversary brew was released in the beginning of June so look for it around then.
Last year’s anniversary beer, a dark braggot named Sixteen, won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival in the specialty honey beer category.
