starter’s pub

As first reported by local blogger Josh Popichak over at the Saucon Source, the owners of Hellertown restaurant Braveheart have purchased the former Starter’s restaurant on Route 378 and plan to open a new restaurant called Taps Tavern.  The pub will feature a variety of craft beers on draft, up to 30, and is expected to open early in 2015.  According to Popichak’s report, the new restaurant will employ TVs throughout the restaurant for sports fans and cater to a family demographic.  Starter’s, which had three locations in Bethlehem, shut down all of them earlier this year.
