La Perla Del Caribe, a new Latino cuisine eatery, opened earlier this month in Bethlehem.
The small restaurant is extremely plain inside. The open space is undecorate and features just plain tables and chairs. The food here is what’s the most interesting thing. The menu features possibly the most authentic Puerto Rican food in the Lehigh Valley with dishes like patitas de cerdo (pig feet) and sancocho, a hearty stew derived from roots like potato, yucca, and taro. The restaurant is located at 515 Keystone Avenue in Bethlehem, just off of West Broad Street.
