Daddy’s Place, located at 650 Northampton Street, is now open for business.
The restaurant, owned by Sharbel Koorie, was completely redone from the former Northampton Glass business that occupied the space. It has been in the works since September of last year. The kitchen features a brick oven, churning out the restaurant’s array of unique pizzas. Ethnic ingredients can be found throughout the pizza menu, such as thyme, sumac, yogurt, feta, and mint. The menu also includes items like kabobs, a vegetarian platter, pasta, and more traditional pizzas. Daddy’s Place also stocks a large variety of craft beer for take-out, with breweries like Victory, Chimay, Bear Republic, Brew Works, Lost Abbey, Weyerbcaher, Brooklyn, Southern Tier, Dogfish Head, Red Hook, Sly Fox, Goose Island, Two Brothers, Sam Adams, Left Hand, Great Lakes, Oskar Blues, Rogue, and Magic Hat all adorning the shelves in the to go area.
