    Colony Meadery Releasing Cyser

    The Colony Meadery is gearing up to release  Pie-Eyed Granny, a new 16% ABV cyser, a blend of apple cider and mead honey wine.  The meadery used local cider from Scholl Orchards in Bethlehem and added in a blend of pie spices to develop a unique holiday-themed drink.  The cyser will be packaged in 375ml bottles and will be available for purchase at the meadery.  We’ll keep you updated with more information on release details as they become available.

    A little while ago we sent an inquiry to Sam Adams, who utilizes a giant brewery in Breinigsville, why they were seeking a winery license for their beer brewery. Turns out the company is looking into producing Boston Beer Company’s Angry Orchard cider at the Lehigh Valley brewery as well.
