Artsquest announced the events for their second annual ¡SABOR! Latin Festival today. Featuring a diverse set of artists, the line-up includes bossa nova, salsa, meringue, and reggaeton artists. Artsquest is partnering with the Hispanic American League of Artists, the Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley, the Latin American Motorcycle Association, and the SouthSide Branch of the Bethlehem Area Public Library to host the event.
Headlining the event will be the Grammy Award-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra, who will perform a free show in the Musikfest Café. The event is very family-based and will include plenty of activities for children. Arts and crafts, hula hoping, and a photography will be presented by the Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley. The local library will host a bilingual storytelling session and Hector Rosado, a Latin percussionist, will host a free drum workshop. The Hispanic American League of Artists will host a dance performance that will educate and entertain audiences with different forms of Latin dance.
The festival kicks off June 22nd and runs until June 24th.
